About The Host

Steve Riekeberg, host of Geek Cred, is a 20-year-old, self-proclaimed geek that loves computers, technology, science fiction, and video games. He first became interested in computers when was given a hand-me-down computer with a 286 processor when he was 9. He spent countless hours playing games and programming in QBASIC, and ever since then, has been fascinated with computers and technology. Since the first time he saw Star Wars he has also loved science fiction.

Steve lives in southern California and is a student working towards a degree in Computer Science. In his free time, he enjoys surfing the Internet, chatting on IRC, playing computer games, watching science fiction, and podcasting.
